Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman, by JB Lynn - Mini Review

I received this book in the first box from Avon a couple of months ago.  It's not actually a romance, which is what took me so long to get around to it.

It has to be said: this might be the silliest book I've read all year.  Certainly in a long time.  There is not a single thing in the plotting that's remotely believable.

So if you assume from the start that it's a wacky, wacky farce, it's actually pretty engaging.  The action moves along at a quick clip; Maggie is appealing and I have to say the ending took me completely by surprise.  I might just check out the sequel.

Not my usual full-blown review because honestly there's not much substance here, but it's fun and funny and worked as a romance palate-cleanser-- I've been reading quite heavily the last couple weeks and was kinda desperate for something a little different.  This totally fit that bill.

Other Reviews (all quite positive, I might add):

Totally love the title. :O) I need a "palate cleanser" every now and then, too. :O)

It really is a fun title, and I think it's very indicative of the style of the book.

Hoola, I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by....
